reconsidered.
Existing forms can be approached through colour, composition and hand-applied detail, allowing a piece to acquire a distinctly personal character while remaining recognisable as the object it was.
MATERIAL & FINISH
Material can become
the expression.
Exceptional skins, finishes, colour and surface treatment may be considered where technically appropriate to the piece and its construction.
THE PIECE COMES FIRST
Nothing is changed

Every request is assessed in relation to the handbag itself. Construction, material, condition, proportion and existing details are considered before a direction is proposed.
The objective is not transformation for its own sake, but an intervention that remains coherent with the character and integrity of the piece.

The intended direction, the piece and the desired outcome are discussed privately.
Consideration
Materials, construction, condition and feasibility are assessed individually.
Proposal
Where appropriate, an artistic direction and proposed intervention are presented for consideration.
Execution
Accepted commissions are entrusted to the appropriate specialist craftsmanship.
SELECTIVE ACCEPTANCE
Not every commission
is accepted.
The Atelier accepts commissions selectively.
A proposal will only proceed where the intended intervention is considered appropriate to the piece and where artistic coherence, craftsmanship and material integrity can be preserved.
A request may therefore be declined where the proposed work is not considered suitable.
PRIVATE BY NATURE
Considered quietly.
Atelier consultations are handled privately. Details concerning commissions, client preferences and individual pieces are treated with discretion throughout the process.
